Guangzhou H.L. Peninsula Catering Group Ltd (formerly called “Guangdong Dongshan District H.L. Peninsula Catering Restaurant”) was established in 2001, located within Er Sha Island which boasts the elegant and pleasant scenery. The restaurant has the business operation area approximately up to 4000 square meters, partitioned into four floors, also providing the large-scale free parking lot accommodating approximately 180 vehicles. The restaurant has 25 VIP dinning rooms and the large-scale dinning hall on the second floor, which can accommodate more than 600 customers for meals. The restaurant is decorated in the fashionable but simple style and won the first prize from the 2002 inner design competition in Asia-Pacific Region. In 2004 it was honorably awarded the title of Guangzhou City Food Sanitary A-Class Unit by Bureau of Health of Guangzhou Municipality and the National Super-class Five-diamond Restaurant. In 2006 the restaurant was awarded the special honor of “Unit of Outstanding Contribution made in the Guangzhou City food assurance project construction”. The restaurant is well configured and well decorated with perfect functions, specially engaged in the delicacies from every part of the world, such as, abalone, ginseng, shark fin and bird's nest, Cantonese dishes, Chaozhou Dishes and Japanese Cold Platters and fresh seafood and wild animals.
